Victoria Quarter Leeds – Summer Bloggers Event

Victoria Quarter Leeds is one of my favourite places to shop in the city. I remember going to shop there with my parents as a child, gazing up at the stained glass in awe. Just as my children do now. There is just something special about all the current brands under the stained glass roof and each store front in beautiful gilded lettering on mahogany.  It’s a sight to see and an experience in itself.

There are around 70 designer brands in the Victoria Quarter Leeds currently and this time I want to talk about just a few of them.

Our first stop was Liz Earle, famous for its botanical skin care it was a brand I’d heard of and tried in the past but not one I knew a great deal about so I was glad to meet Sally who expertly talked me through the products and services on offer in the Victoria Quarter Leeds store. I was treated to a hand and arm massage on the first floor using a selection of Liz Earle products whilst Sally gave me her tips on creating a great skin care routine ( cleanse, tone and moisturise is the key and making it a routine that you follow twice a day.)

I also got to take a peek at the 2nd floor treatment rooms where they offer a brilliant selection of treats nets and you genuinely wouldn’t know you were in a city centre location, the quality and tranquility of the rooms was high. I would definitely book in for a treatment there.

They offer special in store events and I was amazed by the current special offers in store. You can have a free skin consultation and I’d highly recommend it so you can target concerns etc. I am currently using the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish -Hot Cloth Cleanser, which is incredible, perfect for my troubled skin and part of the three step routine I mentioned before.

We moved on to Filmore and Union to hear more about their juices and smoothies. I tried a delicious Beetroot, carrot, ginger and apple Detox juice which was very refreshing. Made fresh on dire with only fresh ingredients they offer vitamin punches in loads of different mixes. Great if you are a health buff or just if you need a pick me up. They also have an amazing range of food options available that offer delicious but nutritious options.

Our final stop on this visit was Sweaty Betty. I fell in love with the new range of sports gear, so much so that I brought my sister along for a visit over the weekend. We both wanted everything in sight, the green vest was my favourite and the jacket was such incredible quality. I don’t think I’d ever take it off! I had no idea that Sweaty Betty has a studio upstairs where they offer free or low cost exercise classes. I attended a free Pilates class. As a Pilates virgin I wasn’t sure if I was going to find the class too tough but I loved it. The instructor expertly instructed all participants on the different intensities you could use in each section. I really enjoyed the class and discovered a new love for Pilates. I will definitely be looking for a local class to join.
