Mummy and Son Dinner Date

A week or so ago C and I had the very rare opportunity to spend some great quality time together just the two of us. We took the chance to go out for dinner and we both had a great time.

We took our seats in Pizza Express and talked over the menus. I was very impressed when C ordered his meal himself, politely and confidently. The waitress was too. After she had gone C turned to me and said “So mummy, what shall we talk about? How’s things?” This coming from my 3 year old was really quite funny.

We talked about anything and everything and put the world to rights over pizza and then chocolate cake. I have to say that I loved our mummy and son dinner date and I can’t wait to do it again soon. Love you C xxx
