Our Garden

This weekend we’ve been enjoying our garden in the sunshine. Daddy Ramblings has been working on the summer house which has been his labour of love over the last few weeks. He has used every spare minute to work on it and around a very busy day job this is no mean feat, but I’m glad to say its getting there. It looks great and I’m so happy with it and all his hard work has definitely paid off!

Both children have ‘helped’ Daddy with the summerhouse too, they are particularly good at moving things he needs, and getting paint on themselves etc but they have loved watching him work and C has enjoyed watching the summerhouse grow and change.

It’s been nice to see the sunshine too so we’ve made the most of it by enjoying ice-creams (LissyLou looks so happy because she stole my lolly!) and picnics in the sunshine. We brought our Tripp Trapp (review to follow shortly) out into the garden to help get LissyLou at a good height for the table and it’s lovely that we can all sit around our table together now, it makes eating outside so much easier! It’s so light that moving it in and outdoors isn’t a chore, with our old highchair I hated moving it outside because every time I would either hurt myself of chip some paintwork because it was so heavy and cumbersome.
