Princesses

Princesses

It’s no secret that LissyLou loves Princesses. She has a princess poster on her wall and princess toys. She loves princess DVD’s and books and if we are out and she sees anything with princesses on she is sure it belongs to her. If it’s got a princess on then LissyLou is pretty much guaranteed to love it!

I’ve already started thinking about her 2nd birthday party, I know it’s a few months away but I want it to be a Princess extravaganza, full of sparkles and pink and princesses. I’m picturing a proper tea party feel with cupcakes, treats and girly stuff. I’ve even been looking at birthday cakes for girls for a special princess cake for her. This one would probably go down a storm!

Princesses

I know we will need princess balloons and banners and wands and tiaras too. I hope we can invite all her little friends. We probably need to keep some control on the pink so that C and her cousins aren’t too alienated though! Any ideas on ways to make it very princessy but still interesting to the boys would be greatly appreciated! C is adament that princesses are very uncool and the only reason LissyLou is allowed to watch Tangled is because it has Flynn Rider and he is cool! Otherwise girly programmes, especially princess ones are pretty much banned! It’s a good job she likes cars, trains and boys programmes too isn’t it?

She’s not that far off moving into a big girl bed either and we already have a princess bed waiting for her when she is ready. She won this beautiful princess bed last year and I just know she will love sleeping in it. What princess mad little girl wouldn’t love this bed?

Princesses

Her bedroom is one area where she has full control, if she wants floor to ceiling princesses then that’s what she can have, C has no say in that one! If you’ve seen any really nice princess things that you think LissyLou needs for her bedroom then please let me know, I’ve not got anything apart from the bed so far!

    • Thanks CJ, it’s lovely isn’t it? I know that when she no longer loves princesses she won’t be my ‘little’ girl any more! x
