I Need A Dishwasher
Ok I’ve decided I 100% need a dishwasher. I am fed up of doing the washing up. It’s driving me mad, I hate doing it and I’m not good at it either! I spend a lot of my time washing up, just one day in this house produces about 10 plates/dishes, mugs, cups, bottles, cutlery, pots and pans. A full days washing up takes me about 45 minutes. 45 long boring minutes in which I grumble, burn my hands and splash water all over myself and the floor! I just need a dishwasher.
So here are my reasons for and against:
Reasons why I need a dishwasher:
- It will save time
- It will make me happy
- The dishes will be cleaner
- It only takes 10 minutes to load the dishwasher
- It only takes 10 minutes to unload the dishwasher
Reasons why I don’t need a dishwasher:
- I hate loading the dishwasher
- I hate unloading the dishwasher
Hmmm, I think the evidence speaks for itself there doesn’t it? So I have been researching dishwashers online and I’ve read loads of dishwasher reviews and looked at specifications, features and more. It’s all a bit mind blowing actually, they’ve definitely got more complicated in the 5years since I last had one! 5 years, I can’t believe I have lived without a dishwasher for 5 whole years! But there has always been something more important than a dishwasher since we bought this house so it has been bottom of the pile!
But now I’m putting my foot down, I want a dishwasher, no I need a dishwasher and now I’m going to get one!

Yes you NEED a dishwasher. I couldn’t cope without one. I never had one until 6 years ago and now I wouldn’t NOT have one. I love mine and it’s been going strong every day for 6 years – just had someone out to it once in that time. OMG how sad are WE?
We are sad aren’t we? But we are also busy mums who need our machines to help us do it all
I didn’t have a dishwasher until about a year ago… definitely couldn’t live without it now!

The reasons weigh nicely in favour of the appliance. Plus sparkly glasses, Fairy new Platinim tabs, clean the filter, you don’t have to scrape or soak, salt not needed. I was years without one, now its a top must have. I bought a Maytag d/washer off Ebay for £40, its a fantastic machine. Been going 2 years now so paid for itself!
