Making Boobs Look Brilliant at Panache
Last week I had the good fortune to go to the Head Quarters of Panache Lingerie. If you haven’t heard of Panache then you need to know that Panache is an award winning BRITISH lingerie company. It’s a family company through and through. Set up by Anthony Power back in 1982 to serve the fuller bust market it is still run by the family today. John Power, Managing Director, is one of the most passionate business men I have ever met. He clearly cares about what they do, the products they provide and their customers. In fact this passion stretched out across every member of staff we met, it seemed like a great place to work!
Panache pride themselves on being built on 3 core values; FIT, SUPPORT and COMFORT. They specialise in the D+ cupsize market and make beautiful underwear that really works for the fuller bust.
The event I attended was a jubilee themed tea party with lovely sandwiches and Panache cupcakes. We were shown round the HeadQuarters and got to see the sewing room, designers stations and offices. It was interesting to see how the bras start life and the thought processes behind each design.
We were shown the new collections for the Masquerade, Cleo, Superbra, Sports Bra and Swimwear brands, including talking to the designers about where the inspiration came from and how they designed the stunning pieces in each collection. The mood boards were interesting and it surprised me the level of research behind underwear. They design the pieces as if they are working on outwear and every bit if not more work goes into their designs. The love, care and passion of Panache spilled out in buckets as the designers talked, it was amazing to hear them.
I loved the swimwear, great styles and shapes so you could easily find something that works for your figure. I liked that the trim on the straps of the stripy bikini move to allow you more coverage – great if you will be moving about a lot chasing after children!
The underwear is all stunning, with fabrics from a beautiful ‘lagoon’ blue to florals and lace you are spoilt for choice. The beauty of the Panache styling is that it is fun, flirty, sexy but wearable. It is all designed to allow you to wear it everyday, with great fit and comfort whilst looking beautiful and being comfortable. My favourites came from the Superbra and Cleo ranges, they have some gorgeous styles and fabrics in the new collections.
If you are a fuller busted lady then you have to check out Panache in general but particularly the new A/W collections which is just beautiful across each of the internal Panache Brands.
In our special goodie bags we received a Panache Sports bra and briefs and I will let you know more about them when I use them but I can say they don’t look anything like the type of sports bra I am used to, while clearly built for function, they are pretty good looking too. This set in particular is pretty cool in red, white and blue.
Thank you so much to Panache for inviting me to view the A/W 12 collection, it was really interesting event and beautiful collections even if it will prove very expensive for me!
