My husband has a couple of days off work so we thought we would pop out and do a few jobs and on our way back called into a retail park with the plan of calling into IKEA, somewhere we don’t go to on a weekend because of how silly busy it always is. Guess what? It was PACKED!
It’s a Monday, it’s early November, why was it busy? Why weren’t people at work? Why were they in our way? Has Christmas shopping really started during the week already? It’s no wonder I try and do all my shopping online!
Pfft! So we gave up and came away. I don’t need anything that badly that I want to fight over car parking spaces or struggle round IKEA with a pushchair and a toddler!
Yup the Christmas madness has started. I have noticed town has been much busier than usual for the last two weeks at least.

Yes! Christmas starts pretty early now. Apparently the stores decided that since people get a head start on buying gifts in order to save money, then they (the stores) are going to start setting Christmas stuff out early so that everyone still ends up spending more money than they wanted. Lol
